English to French Linguist & Copy Editor for Product, Marketing & UI Content

Welo Global is a leading provider of multilingual AI, technology, and content solutions, serving a diverse range of global clients. We are currently seeking experienced French Linguists and Copy Editors to join our team for a long-term, fully remote project supporting a major multinational company.

Key responsibilities

• Translate, copy-edit, and perform MTPE tasks for a variety of content types including marketing, UI, product, support, and legal materials.
• Maintain high standards of linguistic quality and accuracy across all assigned projects.
• Utilize client-specific CAT tools to ensure consistency and efficiency in the localization process.
• Collaborate effectively within a fast-paced environment to meet project requirements and volume expectations.

Requirements

• Native or near-native proficiency in French combined with an excellent command of English.
• At least 2 years of professional translation experience with a relevant degree, or 5+ years of experience without a formal degree.
• Proven track record in translating diverse content types such as marketing, UI, and informational texts.
• Demonstrated experience working with CAT tools and a strong attention to detail.
• Reliability, responsiveness, and a professional approach to feedback and revisions.
