English to Burmese (Myanmar) Linguist & Copy Editor for Product, Marketing & UI Content

Welo Global is a leading provider of multilingual AI and content solutions, currently seeking experienced Burmese (Myanmar) Linguists and Copy Editors for a long-term project with a major multinational client. This fully remote role involves working on diverse content types, including marketing, UI, product, and legal materials, within a fast-paced global environment.

Key responsibilities

• Translate, copy-edit, and perform MTPE tasks from English to Burmese.
• Handle various content formats such as marketing copy, user interface strings, product documentation, and support materials.
• Utilize client-specific CAT tools to ensure consistency and quality across all deliverables.
• Maintain high standards of linguistic accuracy while meeting project volume requirements of over 5000 words per week.

Requirements

• Native or near-native proficiency in Burmese and an excellent command of English.
• At least 2 years of professional translation experience with a relevant degree, or 5+ years of experience without a formal degree.
• Proven track record in translating diverse content types including marketing and UI.
• Proficiency in using CAT tools and a strong attention to detail.
• Reliability, responsiveness, and a proactive approach to feedback and revisions.
