English into Ukrainian Patent Translator/LQA Reviewer

Welocalize is a global transformation partner specializing in multilingual content services, currently seeking experienced linguists for a patent translation project. We are looking for professionals with native-level fluency in Ukrainian to join our network and support high-quality translation and LQA review tasks in specialized technical fields.

Key responsibilities

• Translate and review patent-related content from English into Ukrainian, ensuring the original meaning is conveyed accurately and clearly for the target audience.
• Maintain high standards of style and adequacy as required by our clients.
• Follow established translation processes and project-specific instructions.
• Utilize CAT tools effectively to manage project workflows.
• Communicate promptly and professionally in English regarding project status and updates.

Requirements

• Native fluency in Ukrainian and professional proficiency in English.
• A degree in linguistics, translation, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 2 years of proven experience in the translation or editing of patent documentation.
• Demonstrated expertise in technical fields such as Mechanics, Computer Science, or Chemistry.
• Proficiency in using CAT tools, with specific experience in XTM being highly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet project deadlines.
