Engineering Manager

GetResponse is a leading SaaS company providing email marketing and automation software to over 350,000 customers worldwide. We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and grow our development teams, driving both technical excellence and professional development within our IT organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support up to three teams, ensuring high performance, predictability, and continuous improvement of delivery processes.
• Take ownership of the professional growth of team members, including performance evaluations, career path planning, and mentoring.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and other Engineering Managers to align team goals with broader IT strategy.
• Manage team resources, hiring, and budgets while fostering a positive and collaborative team culture.
• Remove impediments and ensure teams have the necessary tools and environment to deliver high-quality software.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Engineering Management or Team Leadership roles.
• Proven track record in people management and supporting the professional development of engineers.
• Strong technical background with the ability to understand and evaluate complex technical decisions.
• Excellent communication skills in both Polish and English (B2+ level).
• Practical experience with modern development tools such as GitLab, Jira, and AI-assisted coding platforms.
