Engineering Manager (m/k) 🚀

As part of the continued growth of its engineering organization, the company is expanding its leadership team by introducing larger, domain-focused engineering squads.

We are looking for an experienced Squad Lead (Engineering Manager) to lead one of the company's key product domains.

This is a strategic engineering leadership role focused on driving technical direction, product delivery, and long-term platform evolution. You will work in close partnership with Product Management, helping shape the roadmap while leading a cross-functional engineering team of approximately 20 specialists.

This position is highly technical from an architectural and product perspective, although it does not involve day-to-day coding.

Your role:

• Lead, coach and develop a cross-functional engineering squad of approximately 20 engineers and technical specialists.

• Partner closely with Product Managers to define technical direction and successfully deliver the product roadmap.

• Drive architectural discussions and ensure scalable, maintainable, and high-quality software solutions.

• Balance new feature development with long-term platform sustainability and technical debt management.

• Foster engineering excellence, ownership, and continuous improvement across the team.

• Collaborate with Engineering, Product and Design stakeholders to align priorities and deliver business value.

• Support hiring, talent development, succession planning and the growth of senior engineering talent.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 2 years in an Engineering Manager role.

• Previous hands-on experience as a Software Engineer with a strong technical foundation.

• Experience leading engineering teams of at least 15 people within product companies.

• Strong background in building modern B2B SaaS or enterprise web applications.

• Solid understanding of software architecture, distributed systems and modern engineering practices.

• Proven experience partnering with Product Managers and influencing technical strategy.

• Experience with cloud-based environments; knowledge of .NET, React and Azure is considered a strong advantage.

• Good understanding of current AI trends and their application in software engineering.

• Fluent English and Polish
