Engineering Lead- Options

Keyrock is a leading digital asset market maker and financial institution, pioneering innovation in DeFi, options trading, and high-frequency systems. We are seeking an experienced Engineering Lead to guide our Options Engineering team and drive the evolution of our systematic options trading platform.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of approximately 7 engineers focused on options trading infrastructure.
• Own and evolve our Rust-native systematic options trading platform, including automated quoting, execution, and risk management.
• Provide technical direction on system design, performance, reliability, and production-grade validation.
• Partner closely with trading, quant, product, and infrastructure stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.
• Balance technical leadership with operational discipline and delivery ownership.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in systematic trading, options market-making, or low-latency systems.
• Strong hands-on experience with Rust, C++, or C, with a willingness to master Rust.
• Deep understanding of algorithmic options trading, including pricing, risk controls, and market data workflows.
• Experience with SQL databases, distributed systems, and production reliability.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to make technical decisions under uncertainty.
