micro1 is seeking an Engineering & Technical Documentation Specialist to join a significant project focused on advancing technical content understanding. In this fully remote role, you will apply your domain expertise to help train next-generation AI systems, shaping how models learn and reason through high-quality, real-world technical input.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret a wide range of technical documents, including engineering drawings, blueprints, CAD outputs, schematics, and inspection reports.
- Develop comprehensive rubrics and structured guidelines for evaluating visual and technical documentation within your field of expertise.
- Provide detailed explanations of technical diagrams, tables, and charts to ensure accurate representation of domain-specific concepts.
- Review, annotate, and clarify complex technical materials to support advanced data labeling and content understanding tasks.
- Translate intricate engineering or construction concepts into clear instructional materials for AI model development.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience working in engineering, construction, architecture, manufacturing, or closely related technical domains.
- Strong proficiency in interpreting and creating technical documentation, including familiarity with blueprints, CAD files, and schematics.
- Background as a Mechanical Engineer, Civil Engineer, Architect, Industrial Engineer, or CAD Specialist is highly valued.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on clarity and precision in technical contexts.
- Demonstrated ability to translate visual information and complex concepts into structured, understandable formats.
