Engineering - Software Engineer (AI & Agentic Solutions)

Aline is the bridge between senior care and technology, empowering senior living communities to work smarter and deliver care with heart. We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our team and build enterprise-grade features using AI and agentic patterns within our .NET and Azure environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement AI-assisted features such as intelligent notifications, content generation, and conversational interfaces.
• Integrate LLM capabilities into existing .NET services using APIs and agent frameworks.
• Develop retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines to ground AI responses in customer data.
• Build multi-step agent workflows using frameworks like Semantic Kernel or LangGraph.
• Write clean, testable C# code and contribute to CI/CD pipelines while ensuring AI features behave safely and predictably.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of software engineering experience with a focus on backend or full-stack development.
• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET, including ASP.NET Core and dependency injection.
• Experience with Azure infrastructure, including App Services and Azure Functions.
• Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases.
• Practical experience using LLMs in application code, such as managing prompts and parsing structured responses.
• Familiarity with REST API design and service-to-service integration patterns.
