Eleks is seeking a skilled Data Quality Engineer to join our team and support a prominent renewable energy company. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and reliability of data pipelines for a business focused on sustainable power generation and zero-carbon electricity distribution.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and execute comprehensive tests across all planned levels, documenting results and deviations.
• Participate in the setup of test environments and the acquisition of high-quality test data.
• Contribute to the creation, validation, and maintenance of essential test documentation, including test plans and cases.
• Review and analyze project requirements to translate them into effective quality control processes.
• Communicate progress to stakeholders and collaborate closely with team members to ensure project success.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in SQL and data validation techniques such as row counts and checksums.
• Solid understanding of ETL processes, data pipelines, and regression testing for database-dependent applications.
• Experience with RDBMS platforms like PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL.
• Familiarity with test management tools, bug tracking systems like Azure DevOps, and version control via Git.
• Strong API testing skills and an understanding of CI/CD pipelines for database deployments.
• Upper-Intermediate level of English proficiency.
