Expected, CODESYS, Linux, Embedded, OPC UA, MQTT About the project, Our client is looking for an experienced Embedded Linux / CODESYS Control Developer to join a technical engineering team responsible for the development, deployment, and integration of industrial automation solutions based on Embedded Linux, ARM platforms, and CODESYS Control for Linux., , The role focuses on hands-on development activities, including low-level hardware integration, CODESYS environment customization, creation of hardware control libraries, and implementation of communication solutions for Industrial IoT systems., , The ideal candidate will independently handle complex technical tasks related to embedded software development and industrial automation. Your responsibilities, Installation, configuration, and deployment of CODESYS Control for Linux on target embedded systems based on ARM architecture., Development and maintenance of embedded software solutions running on Embedded Linux platforms., Integration and configuration of hardware components using low-level Linux interfaces., Implementation of hardware communication layers and drivers for industrial devices., Development of CODESYS libraries (.library) for hardware control and integration., Creation and modification of CODESYS device descriptions using XML-based SDK tools., Integration of industrial communication protocols such as OPC UA and MQTT., Development of IIoT-related solutions connecting industrial devices with higher-level systems., Debugging and troubleshooting embedded systems across software and hardware layers., Working with CODESYS Development System IDE and IEC 61131-3 programming environments., Cooperation with engineering teams to design reliable and scalable automation solutions. Proven experience with CODESYS Control for Linux, especially installation and deployment on ARM-based target systems., Strong knowledge of Embedded Linux on ARM platforms, including:, Linux kernel fundamentals,, Device Tree configuration,, embedded system troubleshooting., Hands-on experience with GPIO and low-level hardware access in Linux, including:, sysfs-GPIO,, libgpiod,, optionally, Practical knowledge of at least one industrial communication protocol:, OPC UA, MQTT, Experience with Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) solutions., Very good programming skills in C/C++., Experience with CODESYS SDK for creating and modifying device descriptions (XML)., Proven experience in developing custom CODESYS libraries (.library) for hardware control., Strong knowledge of IEC 61131-3 standard, especially:, Structured Text (ST),, additionally appreciated: Function Block Diagram (FBD) and Ladder Logic (LD)., Professional experience with CODESYS Development System IDE.
