Embedded Firmware Engineer (C++)

emagine Polska is looking for an experienced Embedded Firmware Engineer to join their team and contribute to the development and maintenance of high-quality firmware for embedded systems. This role focuses on leveraging modern C++ standards to build robust solutions within an embedded Linux environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement embedded firmware in C++ for a variety of complex applications.
• Ensure high-quality code standards through rigorous testing and validation processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate firmware with hardware and software applications.
• Participate in the entire firmware development lifecycle, from initial requirements analysis to ongoing maintenance.
• Continuously explore and implement improvements in firmware development processes to enhance efficiency.

Requirements

• Proficiency in modern C++ (C++17) development on embedded Linux systems.
• Solid experience with Yocto, kernel development, and Board Support Packages (BSPs).
• A strong testing mindset, including experience with unit testing, BDD, and CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and Bitbucket.
• Knowledge of Python is considered a significant advantage.
