Electrical Systems & Field Operations Specialist

micro1 is seeking an Electrical Systems & Field Operations Specialist to contribute domain expertise to a project focused on training next-generation AI systems. You will leverage your practical background in electrical engineering and field operations to help shape how AI models learn, reason, and perform by providing high-quality, real-world technical input.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, interpret, and explain complex electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control system documentation.
• Review, annotate, and validate technical materials including equipment layouts, inspection reports, and operational procedures.
• Evaluate electrical troubleshooting scenarios and document analytical approaches based on industry best practices.
• Assess and clarify technical manuals and field operation guides to ensure accuracy and clarity.
• Provide detailed feedback on documentation quality and collaborate asynchronously to share technical insights.

Requirements

• Proven expertise in electrical systems, control systems, automation, instrumentation, or field operations.
• Experience interpreting and producing technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and operational documentation.
• Strong background as an Electrical Engineer, Controls Engineer, Automation Engineer, or Maintenance Supervisor.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences.
• High attention to detail when working with visually dense technical documents.
