ELA Curriculum Developer

Miaplaza is dedicated to elevating online learning by creating accessible and inclusive curriculum platforms for students. We are seeking a passionate ELA Curriculum Developer to join our mission-driven team and help produce engaging, academically rigorous educational materials for 6-12th grade students.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop ELA educational content, including video scripts, assessments, and written learning activities.
• Ensure all content is pedagogically sound, age-appropriate, and accessible for diverse student populations.
• Write clear, measurable lesson objectives and align all teaching materials to meet these goals.
• Collaborate with subject-matter experts and the production team to refine content based on feedback.
• Utilize digital tools such as Google Workspace to create and manage curriculum assets.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of full-time ELA classroom teaching experience at the 9-12th grade levels.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education or an ELA-related field.
• Proven ability to write effective, objective-aligned lesson materials.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a growth mindset toward feedback.
• Ability to work independently, manage schedules, and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
