About the role

As the E-Commerce Project Coordinator at Booksy, you will support day-to-day marketplace operations connected with supplier onboarding, product setup, and ongoing operational coordination. This role is focused on ensuring operational processes run smoothly across a variety of tasks, including supplier support, billing-related topics, and product feed management. You will work closely with internal stakeholders while also serving as a point of contact for suppliers, helping coordinate activities across teams and keeping operational work moving forward in a structured and responsive way. What you'll be doing

Core Marketplace Operations & Supplier Management:

  • Supplier Lifecycle Management: Oversee the end-to-end onboarding process for new Suppliers and maintain proactive daily communication to ensure platform success.
  • Financial Coordination: Manage the monthly commission settlement process and address billing-related inquiries for the Supplier base.
  • Assortment & Feed Management: Conduct brand-level analyses within categories to draw business insights and optimize the product portfolio.
  • Operational Readiness: Execute the technical setup and preparation of products for promotional campaigns, contests, and special sales initiatives.

Product Development & System Innovation:

  • Admin Tooling & Automation: Identify internal team bottlenecks and propose automation solutions (e.g., automated commission modules); draft functional requirements and technical specifications for PMs and Developers.
  • Quality Assurance (QA) & Monitoring: Perform rigorous testing of new store functionalities prior to release and provide continuous monitoring of the storefront to identify and report technical bugs.
  • UX & Conversion Optimization: Propose data-driven UX/UI enhancements to the purchasing journey to improve the Provider shopping experience.
  • Information Architecture: Design and maintain the store’s category tree structure and navigation logic to ensure intuitive product discovery for Providers.

Provider Insights & Activation:

  • Provider Market Research: Conduct surveys and interviews with Providers (salon owners) to gather feedback, synthesizing these insights into actionable recommendations for management regarding pricing and offering adjustments.
  • Targeted Communication: Draft and distribute marketing and informational updates specifically tailored to the Provider database.

Knowledge Management & Enablement:

  • Internal Onboarding: Facilitate the training of new team members on core processes and internal systems, specifically Booksy Admin and Store Admin tools.
  • Process Documentation: Act as the custodian of team knowledge by maintaining and updating documentation within the Guru system to ensure operational scalability.

Requirements

What we're looking for

  • Experience in an operations-focused role, customer support environment, or a similarly hands-on position involving coordination across different tasks.
  • Strong sense of ownership and the ability to work independently in a remote setup without close day-to-day supervision.
  • Confidence managing several priorities at the same time, with good judgment on when to solve things directly and when to involve others.
  • Clear communication skills and a practical, solution-oriented approach to working with both external partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Comfort working in a growing, international organization where processes require flexibility, responsiveness, and strong self-organization.

What you'll need

  • Relevant experience in marketplace operations, e-commerce operations, customer support, or project coordination ideally within e-commerce or retail environments.
  • Practical exposure to working with suppliers, onboarding processes, or operational support activities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and requests simultaneously while maintaining structure and responsiveness.
  • Hands-on understanding of topics such as product feeds, product onboarding, billing support, or related operational workflows.
  • Experience with marketplace middleware tools, preferably BaseLinker (Base) or equivalent platforms such as ChannelEngine, Tradebyte, Rithum is an advantage.
  • Strong level of independence, motivation, and accountability suited to a remote working environment.
  • Good English communication skills and comfort operating within an international organization.
  • A proactive, hands-on mindset with the ability to adapt to changing needs and support a broad operational scope.
