Drools Consultant / Rule Engine Expert

Cyclad is seeking a highly experienced Drools Consultant and Rule Engine Expert to join a strategic initiative focused on implementing and optimizing rule-based decision systems. You will play a key role in supporting development teams to build scalable, maintainable solutions within a modern enterprise environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise-grade solutions utilizing the Drools ecosystem.
• Define best practices for rule architecture, coding standards, and rule lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with software engineers and architects to ensure high-quality delivery and system performance.
• Design robust integrations between Drools components and microservices-based architectures.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance and contribute to complex implementation and optimization initiatives.

Requirements

• Deep practical expertise with Drools, Business Central, KIE Server, and Complex Event Processing.
• Strong Java development background, including proficiency in Spring Boot and Hibernate.
• Proven experience in designing rule-based architectures within distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, integration patterns, and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills in English, enabling effective collaboration within international teams.
