Dispatcher

Key responsibilities

• Build and manage daily technician schedules and routing using platforms like HouseCall Pro, ServiceTitan, or Jobber.
• Triage and assign incoming service calls based on urgency, technician skill sets, and geographic location.
• Monitor technician status in real time and adjust routing to accommodate delays, emergencies, or schedule changes.
• Communicate accurate ETAs to customers and provide proactive updates regarding any changes to the schedule.
• Maintain accurate job board data and ensure all relevant details are handed off to technicians and customer service representatives.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional dispatching experience, preferably within the plumbing, HVAC, or electrical trades.
• Working knowledge of field service management software such as HouseCall Pro, ServiceTitan, or Jobber.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills, with the ability to perform effectively under time pressure.
• Ability to manage high volumes of calls and messages while maintaining the capacity for rapid re-prioritization.
