Discovery Analyst Lead (m/k/n)

UPVANTA is seeking a Discovery Analyst Lead to design and establish a robust Discovery operating model within a major Transformation Programme. You will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between high-level business concepts and delivery-ready initiatives, working across the Capital Markets and Banking & Payments domains.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement the Discovery operating model, including frameworks, tools, and workflows for initiative intake and governance.
• Lead and develop a team of Discovery Analysts to ensure consistent quality and alignment with the broader transformation agenda.
• Facilitate workshops with senior stakeholders to translate ambiguous business problems into structured, actionable requirements.
• Analyze existing processes and systems to identify opportunities for optimization, automation, and transformation.
• Ensure the effective handover of validated initiatives from the Discovery phase into the delivery teams.

Requirements

• Proven experience in establishing Discovery, Business Analysis, or Continuous Improvement capabilities within complex environments.
• Strong background in operating model design, process engineering, and building practical governance frameworks from scratch.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively across business and technology domains.
• Demonstrated ability to turn loosely defined ideas into structured, prioritized, and delivery-ready initiatives.
• Experience leading teams and coordinating work across multiple functions in a fast-paced environment.
