Director, Strategy & Corporate Development

Project Management Institute, Inc. is seeking a Director of Strategy & Corporate Development to lead the organization's strategic planning processes and corporate development initiatives. This role is pivotal in driving the execution of strategic goals, fostering alignment across departments, and identifying new opportunities for growth through partnerships and acquisitions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day strategic planning process and coordinate the execution of strategic initiatives across the organization.
• Partner with department leaders to ensure alignment between operational strategy, market needs, and long-term objectives.
• Develop and implement analytical frameworks to identify, prioritize, and solve complex business problems.
• Oversee competitive and industry analysis to inform decision-making and market planning.
• Manage the execution and integration of strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and corporate development transactions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in strategic analytics, financial planning, or corporate strategy roles.
• Proven track record in strategy consulting, investment banking, or corporate development environments.
• Strong expertise in negotiating mergers, acquisitions, and complex business partnerships.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to lead diverse teams and resolve conflicts effectively.
