Director of Travel

Crewfare is seeking a Director of Travel to lead our travel operations team, overseeing hotel sourcing and event execution from initial inquiry to final delivery. This leadership role is essential for ensuring our travel managers and coordinators provide seamless service to our clients, artists, and VIPs while maintaining high operational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee comprehensive travel sourcing for leisure, staff, artists, and VIPs in alignment with internal standard operating procedures.
• Manage complex travel contracting processes, including rooming lists and inventory management.
• Lead and mentor the Travel Team, providing ongoing training, guidance, and clear communication to ensure project success.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Business Development, Account Management, and Marketing teams to meet client expectations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with hotel partners while identifying new opportunities for growth.

Requirements

• 3+ years of leadership experience managing teams of 10+ employees within the hospitality, travel, or event production industries.
• Proven background in hotel sales, operations, group housing, or travel management.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple events and timelines simultaneously.
• Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth startup environments with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Proficiency in CRM systems, event management tools, and travel software platforms.
