Director of People Experience (Europe)

Storyblok is a headless CMS that empowers marketers and developers to create with joy and publish with confidence. We are looking for a Director of People Experience to lead our high-trust team and support our fully remote organization of approximately 320 people across 40+ countries.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and develop a team of HRBPs and a People Operations Specialist across multiple time zones.
• Define and maintain the HRBP operating model, ensuring consistency, proactivity, and end-to-end division ownership.
• Own the HR Operations function, ensuring the employee lifecycle is delivered in a scalable, compliant, and high-quality way.
• Drive process improvement and automation, identifying and streamlining manual workflows across the employee lifecycle.
• Manage relationships with Employers of Record (EORs) and ensure global employment compliance.
• Provide senior oversight on complex employee relations matters and collaborate with Legal on HR policy development.

Requirements

• 8–12+ years of progressive HR experience with a track record in both HR Operations and HR Business Partnering.
• Proven experience leading and developing high-performing HR teams in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
• Strong operational grounding with the ability to design, document, and improve HR processes at scale.
• Experience managing EOR relationships and navigating multi-country employment compliance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with a strong coaching orientation.
