Director, Country Support (Programs)

The Open Government Partnership (OGP) is a global effort involving governments and civil society organizations dedicated to making societies more transparent, accountable, and inclusive. We are seeking a Director, Country Support (Programs) to join our leadership team and help shape the strategic direction of our organization.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and direct the strategic implementation of key programs, including Member Services, OGP Local, and EU-funded initiatives.
• Drive organizational transformation and lead change efforts to strengthen performance and future-readiness.
• Develop and institutionalize a universal, standardized service delivery model for our members.
• Contribute to fundraising efforts, manage senior-level funder relationships, and ensure compliance with donor priorities.
• Represent OGP externally at high-level events and provide strategic guidance to cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in strategy setting, program oversight, and leading organizational change processes.
• Proven ability to manage complex, multi-country programs and coordinate diverse stakeholders.
• Strong background in stakeholder engagement, including collaboration with government counterparts and donors.
• Experience in managing budgets, work plans, and coaching teams to foster a positive culture.
• Exceptional strategic thinking, systems thinking, and communication skills.
