Director, Aluminum Sourcing & Market Intelligence

Trinidad Benham is seeking a Director of Aluminum Sourcing & Market Intelligence to lead strategic procurement and market analysis for our Food Contact division. This role is pivotal in driving profitable growth by combining deep aluminum market expertise with effective sourcing strategies to support our operational and commercial objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the strategic sourcing and procurement of aluminum to ensure a reliable and cost-effective supply chain.
• Monitor global aluminum market dynamics, pricing trends, and commodity indices to inform purchasing and risk management decisions.
• Act as the primary subject matter expert for customers, providing insights on market conditions, pricing adjustments, and supply stability.
• Manage supplier relationships, including contract negotiations, performance monitoring, and proactive risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure sourcing strategies align with business growth and customer needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
• Over 10 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or commodity management.
• Proven expertise in aluminum markets, cost structures, and commercial negotiations.
• Strong ability to communicate complex market data clearly to both internal stakeholders and external customers.
• Demonstrated success in building credibility and managing cross-functional relationships.
