Avenga is seeking a highly skilled Digital Biomarker Biomedical Engineer to provide expert signal processing support for algorithm validation and system equivalency projects. You will play a critical role in ensuring data integrity and technical consistency during complex platform transitions.
Key responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance on signal processing to engineering and clinical teams to ensure a shared understanding of algorithm behavior.
- Analyze datasets to identify deviations, edge cases, and anomalies, applying statistical methods to assess the significance of discrepancies.
- Deconstruct existing signal processing logic and produce clear, structured documentation to support computer system validation efforts.
- Design validation frameworks and test cases, including the definition of tolerance thresholds and acceptance criteria for output comparison.
- Collaborate with data migration specialists to resolve integrity issues and ensure all deviations are documented and traceable.
Requirements
- PhD in Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Solid understanding of digital signal processing and time-series analysis.
- Proficiency in Python, with strong experience using libraries such as SciPy, NumPy, or pandas.
- Proven experience with algorithm or software validation, including defining acceptance criteria and tolerance thresholds.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to diverse stakeholders.
