DevOps Engineer

Inuits is an open-source technology company dedicated to building scalable software, cloud infrastructure, and data platforms. We are currently seeking an experienced Linux System Administrator to join our team and help maintain and improve our modern infrastructure in a collaborative, fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provision and maintain Linux servers and VMs using tools like Foreman, libvirt, Puppet, Ansible, and Terraform.
• Manage monitoring, metrics, and logging systems including Icinga, Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenSearch to ensure high reliability.
• Administer networking and security services such as HAProxy, BIND, FreeIPA, Keycloak, and Vault.
• Operate databases and web services while maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automating operational tasks.
• Administer Kubernetes workloads and participate in on-call rotations, incident response, and root-cause analysis.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience administering Linux in production environments.
• Strong CLI and Bash scripting skills with solid systemd and networking fundamentals.
• At least 3 years of experience automating infrastructure with Puppet, alongside proficiency in Ansible and Foreman.
• Practical experience with Terraform, libvirt/KVM, and container orchestration using Kubernetes.
• Good written and spoken English for effective documentation and team communication.
