DevOps Engineer - private cloud (f/m/x)

Sii is seeking experienced DevOps Engineers to join a dynamic team focused on delivering high-quality automation and infrastructure solutions. In this fully remote role, you will collaborate with a diverse group of professionals to build and maintain robust infrastructure, utilizing the latest technologies to drive innovation and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Designing and maintaining automation pipelines, infrastructure-as-code templates, and container orchestration systems.
• Promoting DevOps principles and continuous improvement practices to accelerate innovation across projects.
• Developing new product stacks and maturing existing automation processes to minimize manual input.
• Ensuring security risks are proactively identified and mitigated during the design and implementation of services.
• Contributing to Agile planning sessions and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in a DevOps engineering role with a focus on automation and infrastructure as code.
• Strong proficiency in CI/CD tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
• Extensive experience with IaC tools like Terraform, ARM, or CloudFormation.
• Deep understanding of private cloud environments, specifically VMware technologies including vSphere, ESX, and NSX.
• Practical knowledge of containerization platforms such as Kubernetes and Docker, alongside scripting skills in Python, Go, or Shell.
• Fluent English communication skills.
