Development Consultant, Europe

myAgro is an award-winning non-profit social enterprise dedicated to helping farmers in West Africa increase their harvests and income through an innovative mobile savings model. We are currently seeking a Development Consultant based in Western Europe to support our fundraising efforts and expand our donor network during a period of significant organizational growth.

Key responsibilities

• Advance our strategy for securing annual and multi-year funding from European governments, foundations, corporate donors, and high-net-worth individuals.
• Identify and research new European-based donors to build and develop a robust new donor portfolio.
• Cultivate and steward relationships with European funders through regular engagement, strategic meetings, and site visits.
• Collaborate closely with the CEO and Managing Director to prepare for funder meetings and high-level presentations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in fundraising, grant writing, or nonprofit development.
• Proven ability to write high-quality grant proposals, concept notes, and donor reports.
• Experience in building and managing a portfolio of institutional or individual funders.
• Strong donor database management skills, with preference for experience in Raiser's Edge.
• Familiarity with international donors, particularly within the global development or agricultural sectors.
