Developer Marketer

LottieFiles is seeking a senior Developer Marketer to lead the strategy for how developers discover, adopt, and build with our developer products. This individual contributor role focuses on creating technical content, documentation, and samples that enable developers to integrate motion into their applications seamlessly.

Key responsibilities

• Own positioning, documentation, quickstarts, and code samples across our developer stack, including AI generation and agent integrations.
• Maintain the first-run experience to ensure developers achieve success quickly and independently.
• Grow our open-source presence through high-quality READMEs, examples, and active participation in package registries and technical communities.
• Partner closely with engineering to ensure API and documentation accuracy, proactively identifying and resolving developer experience issues.
• Instrument and report on key developer activation metrics to align with company growth goals.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in developer marketing, developer experience, or product marketing for APIs, SDKs, or open-source projects.
• Ability to write code proficiently to build samples, review pull requests, and troubleshoot quickstarts independently.
• Strong written communication skills for technical documentation, launch posts, and community engagement.
• Proven track record of launching or scaling open-source projects or developer platforms.
• Comfortable collaborating directly with engineers and advocating for developer experience improvements.
