Developer Advocate - Remote

Zyte is a globally distributed team dedicated to enabling businesses to extract the web data they need to innovate and grow. We are looking for a passionate Developer Advocate to join our team and help developers integrate our powerful tools into their workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Represent Zyte at developer conferences, meetups, webinars, and other industry forums to build meaningful relationships.
• Create high-quality technical content, including tutorials, videos, code samples, and blog posts that help developers adopt our tools.
• Deliver engaging technical workshops, live demonstrations, and conference talks that showcase practical solutions to data extraction challenges.
• Collaborate with product and marketing teams to turn community feedback into actionable improvements for our tools and documentation.
• Grow and support a network of independent advocates who share their experiences with Zyte and Scrapy.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in developer advocacy, community engagement, or a related technical role with an established following.
• Strong understanding of web technologies, APIs, web scraping, and data extraction.
• Demonstrable proficiency in Python and a genuine passion for helping developers succeed.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience with public speaking.
• Self-motivated, self-reliant, and able to prioritize tasks effectively within a remote team environment.
