Dev Manager, DSPM

Forcepoint is a leader in cloud-native security, dedicated to protecting sensitive data and intellectual property for global organizations. We are seeking an Engineering Development Manager to lead and grow a high-performing software development team within our DSPM business unit, balancing technical leadership with people management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and mentor a team of software engineers to deliver high-quality DSPM product capabilities.
• Own the end-to-end delivery of engineering initiatives, including planning, execution, and continuous process improvement.
• Partner with Product Management to translate roadmap priorities into actionable engineering plans with clear milestones.
• Drive the adoption of engineering best practices such as CI/CD, automated testing, and security-by-design.
• Manage headcount planning, hiring, and onboarding to build a strong, cohesive engineering team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 7 years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years in a management or technical lead role.
• Proven experience managing distributed or remote engineering teams across multiple time zones.
• Strong background in Agile delivery methodologies, CI/CD practices, and cloud-native architectures.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical complexity for diverse stakeholders.
