Design System Designer

Link Group is looking for a Senior Design System Designer to join the core team responsible for the S4D (System for Design). In this role, you will shape, maintain, and evolve the foundations, UI components, and design tokens that enable consistent, accessible, and scalable digital experiences across a global portfolio of brands.

Key responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and scale accessible and reusable UI components, patterns, and design foundations for the S4D system.
• Optimize Figma library structures, managing variables, design tokens, and multi-brand token models across platforms.
• Author clear, developer-facing usage guidelines, accessibility considerations, and implementation specifications.
• Partner with the Design System Lead on daily operations, reviewing system contributions, and auditing library quality.
• Work closely with product designers and engineers to drive consistent system adoption and promote best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building and scaling enterprise-grade design systems or component libraries.
• Advanced Figma mastery, including deep expertise in component creation, variants, variables, and library maintenance.
• Hands-on knowledge of design tokens, multi-brand foundations, and the mapping between design files and code.
• Practical understanding of frontend technologies like HTML, CSS, and React to evaluate implementation constraints.
• Solid working knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA standards with an accessibility-by-design mindset.
