Design & Frontend Specialist

micro1 is seeking a Design & Frontend Specialist to provide high-impact written analysis and insights on a customer project spanning product design, UX research, UI/visual design, and frontend engineering. In this role, you will apply your professional expertise to help train next-generation AI systems by producing high-quality, real-world input that shapes how models learn and reason.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze product and design challenges, articulating decision-making rationales in clear, structured written English.
• Draft and refine design documents, usability reports, research summaries, and technical architecture documentation.
• Synthesize complex design and technical information into accessible content tailored for diverse audiences.
• Evaluate design systems, accessibility considerations, and frontend architecture trade-offs.
• Produce detailed reports on user research findings, including actionable recommendations and strategic implications.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in product design, UX, UI/visual design, or frontend engineering.
• Demonstrated expertise in producing high-quality written deliverables such as design docs, case studies, or technical reports.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize and clearly communicate complex or nuanced information.
• Proficiency with Figma and contemporary design systems, along with deep familiarity with accessibility best practices.
• Exceptional attention to detail and precision in analytical writing.
