dbt Data Engineer

We are currently seeking a talented dbt Data Engineer to join our remote team and help design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and warehouses that drive business value.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data warehouses using dbt.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure data reliability, security, and accessibility.
• Develop and deploy dbt models to automate complex data transformations and implement rigorous quality checks.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and data integrity.
• Stay current with the latest dbt trends and emerging cloud technologies to improve our internal processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in data engineering.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience working with dbt.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and version control systems like Git.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and data quality assurance testing methodologies.
