Databricks Data Architect (Healthcare & Life Sciences)

We are seeking a Data Architect to lead the design and deployment of end-to-end AI lifecycles for global healthcare and life sciences clients, leveraging the Databricks Lakehouse platform to solve complex architectural challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable computer vision pipelines using PyTorch or TensorFlow, utilizing Databricks Runtime for ML to process large-scale medical imaging datasets.
• Architect end-to-end MLOps workflows using MLflow for experiment tracking, model versioning, and seamless transition to production-grade Model Serving.
• Enforce rigorous data lineage and security protocols via Unity Catalog to ensure compliance with healthcare regulatory standards like HIPAA and GDPR.
• Act as a strategic advisor for clients, guiding them on medical AI tools, model interpretability, and bias mitigation in clinical settings.
• Implement CI/CD for ML and promote the use of Feature Stores to ensure consistency between training and real-time inference.

Requirements

• 5+ years in Machine Learning or Data Science, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience deploying models within the Databricks ecosystem.
• Proven experience handling medical imaging formats such as DICOM or NIfTI and familiarity with libraries like MONAI or OpenCV.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL, with essential experience in PySpark for large-scale data manipulation.
• Production experience in Azure or AWS cloud environments, focusing on GPU instance management and cost optimization.
• Strong understanding of Deep Learning architectures and evaluation metrics specific to medical diagnostics.
