Database Developer

We are currently seeking a Database Developer to join our agile team and contribute to the design and implementation of high-performing database layers and data integrations.

Key responsibilities

• Implement physical database designs in PostgreSQL based on specifications from Data Modellers and Solution Architects.
• Develop, optimize, and maintain database objects, including schemas, queries, indexes, functions, and stored procedures.
• Work with semi-structured data using JSONB while ensuring optimal performance.
• Design, build, and maintain integrations with connected systems through APIs and ETL/ELT processes.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability across integrated solutions.

Requirements

• Recent experience working within the pharmacy industry.
• Strong hands-on experience with PostgreSQL development and performance tuning.
• Practical experience with semi-structured data, particularly JSONB.
• Solid understanding of ETL/ELT processes and API-based integrations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience working in agile delivery teams.
