Data Solution Engineer

Formula5 is a Microsoft Partner specializing in Data, AI, and Cloud Automation, dedicated to building secure and scalable solutions for regulated industries. We are looking for a Data Solution Engineer to join our team and work on end-to-end client engagements using Microsoft Fabric.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build data pipelines in Microsoft Fabric using Data Factory, PySpark, and SQL within a medallion architecture.
• Develop and maintain semantic models, including star schemas, DAX measures, and Direct Lake storage.
• Create impactful Power BI reports and Fabric Apps to support business users.
• Manage end-to-end quality through Git integration, deployment pipelines, and rigorous testing.
• Utilize agentic AI workflows to build, document, and test solutions while maintaining full accountability for the output.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering and BI, with hands-on production experience in Microsoft Fabric.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python (PySpark), and DAX, with a deep understanding of star schemas and ETL/ELT processes.
• Proven experience with Power BI report development or Fabric Apps.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks or Snowflake.
• Experience working with AI-assisted development tools and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
• Excellent English communication skills and experience in client-facing roles.
