Data Scientist

DCG is looking for an experienced Data Scientist to join our team and help drive data-informed decision-making. In this role, you will work on complex analytical challenges, leveraging advanced machine learning techniques to deliver actionable insights and scalable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deploy advanced machine learning models and statistical analyses to solve complex business challenges.
• Collaborate with data engineers to build scalable data pipelines for modelling and reporting.
• Translate business requirements into data science problems with defined success metrics.
• Prepare, clean, and manipulate large datasets for analysis and modelling.
• Communicate results and recommendations clearly to diverse stakeholders, including non-technical audiences.

Requirements

• Proven experience (3+ years) in data science or advanced analytics roles.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python or R.
• Proficiency in using data visualisation tools to communicate findings.
• Experience with machine learning techniques and statistical modelling.
• Experience working with large, complex datasets and version control systems like GitHub.
