Data Scientist Manager (NLP & GenAI) - Consumer Insights

Kratos Growth is a consumer intelligence platform that transforms billions of data points into strategic insights for global brands. We are looking for a Data Scientist Manager to lead our NLP and GenAI initiatives, bridging the gap between advanced machine learning and actionable consumer insights.

Key responsibilities

• Own the data science roadmap and define success metrics in collaboration with Product and Data Engineering teams.
• Manage and mentor a team of data scientists, fostering career development and maintaining high standards for code and model evaluation.
• Improve the accuracy of multilingual models, including sentiment analysis, emotion detection, and entity resolution.
• Select and implement optimal models, balancing quality, latency, and cost across frontier LLMs and open-weight solutions.
• Act as a domain expert, presenting complex methodologies and findings to enterprise clients and stakeholders.

Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in data science or machine learning, with a strong focus on NLP and unstructured text.
• 3+ years of experience managing data scientists, including hiring and performance coaching.
• Deep expertise in consumer insights, ideally within CPG or FMCG sectors.
• Proven track record of deploying multilingual NLP models at scale and building production-ready LLM applications.
• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and PySpark, with a commitment to remaining hands-on in development.
• Solid statistical foundation with the ability to explain complex model behaviors to non-technical stakeholders.
