Data & Reporting Analyst (Part Time)

Zelh is a fast-growing, passionate outsourcing company dedicated to providing high-quality services through long-term relationships and professional integrity. We are currently seeking a skilled Data & Reporting Analyst to join our client’s team in a part-time, fully remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize existing Power BI reports, dashboards, and complex semantic models.
• Triage and resolve technical issues including failed refreshes, broken visuals, DAX errors, and gateway problems.
• Write and optimize SQL queries against SQL Server warehouses to source and integrate new datasets.
• Develop new reports and modify existing ones based on specific requests from Finance and Operations teams.
• Monitor scheduled data refreshes and implement permanent root-cause fixes for recurring technical issues.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience building and maintaining production-level Power BI environments.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL on SQL Server, including complex joins, CTEs, window functions, and performance tuning.
• Strong expertise in DAX, Power Query (M), and fundamental dimensional modeling concepts.
• Ability to work in a self-directed manner, diagnosing and shipping solutions without constant supervision.
• Excellent written communication skills with a focus on thorough documentation of changes and processes.
