Data Protection Compliance Expert

Uni Systems is a dynamic organization dedicated to transforming digital visions into reality. We are currently seeking a Data Protection Compliance Expert to join our team and ensure our IT operations adhere to the highest standards of data privacy and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure IT operations remain compliant with global data privacy laws and internal standards.
• Conduct privacy impact assessments and manage records of processing activities.
• Develop and communicate data privacy policies while fostering a culture of compliance through staff training.
• Provide expert guidance on personal data processing to internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Monitor audits and enforce the organization’s comprehensive data protection program.

Requirements

• Master’s degree with at least 5 years of relevant IT experience and 4 years in a similar compliance role.
• Extensive experience in ICT or public-sector environments, specifically with hands-on data protection documentation like RoPAs and DPIAs.
• Strong technical background in analyzing access rights, data flows, and security logs.
• Proven ability to coordinate multiple concurrent compliance projects and drive them to successful closure.
• Hold at least three internationally recognized certifications such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor.
• Excellent command of English (C1 level) and deep knowledge of EU data protection legislation.
