Data Platform Engineer

ALTEN Polska is seeking a skilled Data & AI Platform Engineer to join a cross-functional team dedicated to delivering enterprise-scale data and AI solutions. This role focuses on cloud migration, platform engineering, and the development of advanced AI and NLP capabilities within a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver production-ready AI and NLP solutions while integrating them with existing infrastructure.
• Build and optimize robust data processing frameworks, including ETL/ELT pipelines and analytical platforms.
• Collaborate with Tech Leads and engineers to resolve technical challenges and ensure high-quality delivery.
• Support cloud migration initiatives while ensuring compliance with security and governance standards.
• Contribute to CI/CD processes, monitoring, and operational excellence within an Agile framework.

Requirements

• Over 6 years of professional experience in software, data, or platform engineering.
• Proven track record in delivering cloud migration projects and managing Data Lake or Data Warehouse architectures.
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT development using tools like Spark or dbt.
• Practical knowledge of NLP, Machine Learning frameworks, and modern data storage solutions like Delta Lake.
• Strong understanding of security principles, including Zero-Trust, secrets management, and compliance frameworks.
• Proficiency in English at a B2/B2+ level.
