Data Modernization Architect (Part-Time Consulting)

N-iX is seeking a highly skilled Data Modernization Architect to join our team on a part-time consulting basis. This role offers the flexibility to contribute your expertise to complex data transformation projects while working entirely remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Assess the feasibility of alternative database technologies for client projects.
• Identify migration complexities, potential blockers, and technical risks.
• Evaluate and design effective database coexistence approaches.
• Estimate the effort required for large-scale data transformation initiatives.

Requirements

• Extensive experience with Oracle-to-PostgreSQL modernization projects.
• Proven track record in managing database migration programs and legacy database decomposition.
• Deep understanding of data migration strategies and enterprise application modernization.
• Expertise in domain separation, data ownership, and database coexistence architectures.
