Data Governance Lead (f/m/x)

Sii is looking for an experienced Data Governance Lead to join a project for an international healthcare-focused organization undergoing a major transformation of its data management capabilities. You will play a key role in establishing and expanding enterprise-wide governance practices, ensuring that data is trusted, accessible, and compliant to support advanced analytics and emerging technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and adoption of enterprise-wide data governance and stewardship practices across multiple business areas.
• Drive the rollout of governance frameworks, facilitating onboarding, training, and enablement activities for key data stakeholders.
• Oversee the deployment and optimization of data cataloging and data discovery capabilities to improve data accessibility and transparency.
• Monitor governance performance through defined metrics, providing regular reporting on adoption, quality, and operational effectiveness.
• Continuously improve governance processes by evaluating innovative approaches, including automation and AI-supported data management solutions.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Data Governance Lead, Data Stewardship Lead, or similar enterprise-level data governance role.
• Proven track record of driving adoption of governance standards, processes, and platforms across diverse business functions.
• Practical experience with enterprise data governance and metadata management platforms such as Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud or comparable solutions.
• Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance-driven data management practices.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with fluent spoken and written English.
