Data Engineer with AWS

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust data pipelines by modifying Lambda functions and SQL queries.
• Design and optimize data models using the Iceberg format for silver and gold layers.
• Implement data validation rules and automated quality checks to ensure data integrity.
• Document data preparation processes and maintain code versioning in GitLab.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer with a focus on scalable pipelines.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, including complex query optimization.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Athena, Lambda, Glue, and Aurora.
• Familiarity with DBT for modular SQL transformations and Airflow for orchestration.
• Excellent communication skills in English and a pragmatic, ownership-driven mindset.
