Data Engineer

YourITeams is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions that drive informed decision-making. You will own data pipelines and analytics tooling, ensuring high performance while leveraging modern AI-assisted technologies to optimize development processes.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain secure data pipelines and integrations across the organization.
• Develop data models, ETL/ELT pipelines, and analytics solutions using Snowflake, Azure Synapse, and Power BI.
• Champion the use of AI-assisted tools to enhance development speed and code quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data solutions are architected and operated securely.
• Troubleshoot complex data quality and performance issues across modern and legacy platforms.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or business intelligence.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Snowflake or equivalent cloud data warehouse platforms.
• Proven experience with Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and dashboard development.
• Advanced SQL skills and deep understanding of dimensional modeling and star schemas.
• Experience with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP and cloud-native data services.
