Data Engineer

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise-scale data engineering solutions using Databricks.
• Assess existing data implementations and proactively propose improvements, accelerators, and best practices.
• Provide expert technical recommendations regarding Databricks architecture, performance, scalability, cost optimization, security, and governance.
• Lead technical design discussions with customer architects, engineering teams, and business stakeholders.
• Demonstrate technical thought leadership by challenging existing approaches and recommending superior solutions.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Databricks, including Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and Workflows.
• Deep understanding of Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, ETL/ELT concepts, SQL, and data modeling.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills with experience working directly with senior clients.
• Proven ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
