Data Engineer

Astral Forest is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team and build robust, scalable data solutions. We are looking for a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a cloud-native environment and is eager to contribute to high-impact projects for our international clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop comprehensive Azure-based data solutions using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Build and maintain efficient data pipelines and implement modern Data Warehouses, Data Lakehouses, and Data Lakes.
• Develop Azure DevOps pipelines to support full CI/CD lifecycles while ensuring high standards of data security and quality.
• Assess existing architectures to recommend improvements and provide technical input for client proposals.
• Collaborate closely with the team to share knowledge and stay current with emerging trends in data engineering.

Requirements

• 3-5 or more years of professional experience as a Data Engineer with a strong focus on the Azure Data and Analytics stack.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, with additional experience in Python or Scala considered a significant advantage.
• Proven expertise in data modelling, integration, and security best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Full professional proficiency in English (B2/C1 level) and a genuine willingness to learn and grow.
