Data Engineer (Mid-Sen Level) - Fully Remote

SOFTGAMES is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team and help build and optimize our data infrastructure. You will play a vital role in ensuring our data analysts and business teams have the insights needed to support games that reach tens of millions of players every month.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Databricks and Apache Airflow.
• Support data analysts by ensuring they have access to clean, structured, and well-documented data.
• Develop ETL workflows and data integrations using Python.
• Monitor data quality while optimizing performance and cost efficiency.
• Manage and optimize Tableau dashboards to ensure seamless reporting.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Databricks, Apache Spark, Apache Airflow, and Python.
• Solid experience with SQL and cloud-based data platforms, specifically AWS.
• Familiarity with Tableau and managing data exports for business reporting.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
