Data Engineer (Databricks)

co.brick Talents is seeking an experienced Data Engineer or AI Engineer to join a long-term initiative for a global leader in the insurance sector. You will be responsible for designing and building robust data pipelines and intelligent document processing solutions within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem to support large-scale automation.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable data processing solutions within the Azure cloud environment.
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Databricks and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Develop OCR-based solutions for automated document processing and data extraction.
• Integrate extracted data with enterprise applications and reporting systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify new automation opportunities and support AI initiatives.

Requirements

• Proven commercial experience as a Data Engineer or AI Engineer.
• Hands-on expertise with Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data Lake.
• Experience with Intelligent Document Processing, OCR, or Azure AI Document Intelligence.
• Solid knowledge of Natural Language Processing, text analytics, and multilingual document processing.
• Strong SQL skills and familiarity with the Microsoft BI stack including SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS.
• Excellent English communication skills for working in an international environment.
