Data Engineer / 1

Inetum is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design, implement, and operate reliable, secure, and scalable GenAI-based mail processing solutions. You will play a key role in developing enrichment integrations for LLM prompt generation and optimizing platform performance within a cloud-native environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement secure integrations with MCP servers to fetch and aggregate customer data for LLM workflows.
• Operate OCR integrations for document processing, including tool selection and text integration into classification pipelines.
• Scale and performance-tune GenAI Python microservices running in Kubernetes.
• Manage and harden the LLM-Gateway, implementing load balancing, throttling, and fallback strategies.
• Ensure secure handling of customer and PII data across all production workflows.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker.
• Strong proficiency in Python (FastAPI, Django, Pydantic) and backend API integration.
• Practical experience with OCR tools or document-processing pipelines.
• Solid understanding of PostgreSQL connection handling and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK.
• Strong knowledge of data privacy and PII handling in production environments.
