Data Engineer / Senior Data Engineer (Databricks, Snowflake, Data Lakes)

Awareson is seeking experienced Data Engineers and Senior Data Engineers to join international teams focused on developing scalable data solutions for enterprise applications and AI-powered systems. You will work on processing large, complex datasets to support business applications and advanced AI initiatives in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust data integration and processing solutions.
• Build, optimize, and maintain efficient ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Work extensively with modern data platforms including Databricks, Snowflake, and Microsoft Fabric.
• Ensure high standards of data quality, consistency, performance, and reliability across all systems.
• Collaborate closely with AI engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable data architectures.

Requirements

• Proven hands-on experience in Data Engineering and developing production-ready solutions.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python programming.
• Practical experience with Databricks, Snowflake, or Microsoft Fabric.
• Solid understanding of Data Lake and Lakehouse architectures.
• At least 2–3 years of experience in enterprise environments or projects of comparable scale.
• Very good English communication skills and the ability to work independently.
